The New Reality

March 18, 2020

What a different world we live in today.  For a short time (I hope) this is the new reality.  Social distancing and virus mitigation are our new 'buzz' words.  Schools, restaurants, bars, gyms AND churches are shut down.  Who could have imagined this just a few weeks ago? So, how do we respond?

With faith and trust in God!  He was not surprised by this.  It did not catch him off guard. And knowing that he is still in control is comforting.  Difficulties and concerns should bring believers closer to God through bible reading and through prayer.  Difficulties and concerns should not drive us to fear and anxiety.  Philippians 4:4-7 reminds us of this.

This morning, I would encourage all to read Psalm 19 instead of stressing over Covid 19.  A beautiful Psalm 'declaring the glory of God'.
